"Jodi McKay is an author who values the joy of writing and instills that in children. She is relatable and authentic. Jodi models strategies in an engaging way that students understand and put into practice. My students implemented what they learned from her long after her visit." - M. Danley, Lakeview Public Schools

“Her presentations were perfectly tailored to the different grade levels. We had to do a virtual presentation due to Covid restrictions, and we were impressed with her organization, content, pace, and engagement! One grade level reported, "She knocked it out of the park!" Many students wanted to write their own stories immediately following the presentation!” - J. Bastian, Starr Elementary, Plainwell.

Mrs. McKay's presentation was great. The students were very engaged and loved how she answered their questions. Students created a book of their own throughout the presentation. As the day went on I heard classroom using the example they created in making their own writing.”- J. Wallace, Gilkey Elementary
